You have made an investment in lasting quality, which will bring you many years of enjoyment and comfort. Please read the terms of the Homerica East Limited Warranty Coverage carefully. Retain your proof of purchase to process your claim in the event warranty service is required. For any service claims, please contact the dealer where your product was purchased. Homerica East will supply the part(s) either under warranty or at cost, as long as they are available.
Homerica East’s wood furniture products (beds, dressers, chests, night stands, armoires, tables, chairs and desks) are warranted to be free from defects in workmanship, materials and construction for one (1) year.
Our mechanical components are warranted to be free from defects in workmanship, materials or construction for one (1) year. Mechanical components include drawer and door slides, lighting components, pocket-door hinges, table slides, and locks. Normal wear and tear, breakage or failure due to improper use, lack of care or negligence are not covered.
The marble and metal components are warranted to be free from defects in workmanship, materials and construction for one (1) year. Coverage includes beds, decorative trim, tabletops, table bases, etc. Variations in color and texture, veins and irregularity occur naturally in marble and are not quality defects. Normal wear and tear, including surface scratches that occur with normal use, damages which result from improper use, lack of care or negligence are not covered.
The warranty does not include:
Any defect in upholstery fabrics. There is no warranty on vinyl, leather or fabric against wearing, fading, pilling, stretching, dye lots, natural markings or splitting.
Use of chemical treatment or improper cleaning invalidates the warranty.
Any condition resulting from other than ordinary residential wear or from any use for which the product was not designed.
Merchandise that was, at any time, used as a floor sample or display model
Any merchandise purchased “as is” or second-hand
Any merchandise purchased as a clearance or overstock.
No warranty applies to any condition resulting from misuse, abuse, and delivery or transportation damage.
Please inspect your shipment upon pick-up/delivery. You must indicate on the bill of lading or receiving copy any apparent damage. If damage is not notated on the BOL at the time of delivery, Homerica East is not responsible for the freight charges for a replacement or return.
All claims must be made in writing on a claims form and should be faxed/mailed to us within3 days from the receipt date. All customers must submit pictures (email or faxed) of the items along with their damage claim form. Any claims after 3 days cannot be accommodated and the customer is deemed responsible for said items.
Items with damaged glass or mirrors should be reported within 3 days from the receipt date. Any claims after such time cannot be accommodated and the customer is held responsible for the merchandise.
We will issue returned merchandise authorizations for valid customer claims. We regret that we cannot accept the merchandise if it has been used, soiled, scratched, assembled, and if the item has been on the showroom floor or customers’ possession. The customer will be charged until we receive the return.
All returned items shall be subject to inspection by Homerica East’s warehouse personnel. The warehouse manager shall have the final decision on all returns. Items approved for return should be in like-new condition (without damages and in the original packaging) and will be charged a minimum 15% re-stocking fee if unclaimed damage is found. Homerica East reserves the right to either repair, exchange or credit any item that has manufacturer defects. In all cases we will be reasonable and fair.
Returned items that were assembled by Homerica East will be charged a higher re-stocking fee depending on the condition of the item.
Replacement parts/hardware are subject to availability in our warehouse. If not available, please allow us 3-4 weeks minimum to process your request.
All returned items which are found to be used, missing pieces or mishandled shall be returned to the customer. Arrangements must be made by the customer to pick the items up or have them delivered (at customer’s expense). If said items are not picked up or no delivery arrangements are made within two weeks, the items will be disposed of without any credits.
